Fraunhofer Quantum Computing Consulting and Testing Center

With INQUBATOR, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft is establishing an innovative testing and consulting center that offers companies an easy, practical introduction to quantum computing. Four Fraunhofer Institutes are pooling their expertise in quantum hardware-software-co-design and working with industry partners, especially SMEs, to develop application-oriented use cases.

• Easy entry: Simple access to quantum computing for companies of all sizes, no prior experience with quantum computing required
• Individual consulting: Tailored solutions for specific business challenges
• Comprehensive expertise: Years of R&D experience from the Institutes Fraunhofer IAF, IAO, IPA, and ITWM
• Cutting-edge technology: Access to state-of-the-art quantum computers from various manufacturers 
• Concrete use cases: Start with four predefined use cases, expansion to at least eight more from 2026
• Wide range of applications: From medicine and cybersecurity to automotive, insurance, and much more
• Competence building: Workshops, training courses and, if desired, involvement in the programming and operation of quantum computers
• Quantum algorithms: Evaluation of the potential of quantum algorithms for your use cases
• Exploitation strategies: Development of concrete plans for the economic use of quantum algorithms

Future calls for proposals from 2026 for individual use cases will be available on this website starting 2026.
